Conversation Mode will allow for chats with accompanying NPCs who may have some useful advice to offer on particular problems. Zoom Mode will allow players to take a closer look at parts of the room, making it a little less tricky to pick out small objects in the scenery. Along with new puzzles and tricks not featured in the original, a couple of extras stand out. The remake offers a graphical update, as well as a few interesting new features that could entice old fans to pick up the title once again. A softly-spoken young girl who becomes separated from her parents in an art exhibition of the mysterious artist Weiss Guertena, finds herself transported into a twisted alternate version of the gallery where the artwork is not only out of its frames, it’s actively malevolent. Ib, one of the most memorable titles from the heyday of the RPG Maker Horror genre, sees the player taking the reigns of the titular character. Ten years after its initial release as a freeware game, the remake invites new and old players to come back to the cursed hallways of the Guertena Exhibition. Publisher Playism has announced the release of English language support for the remake of the classic horror puzzle title Ib, by Kouri.
